Job summary

Land Title is seeking a Commercial Title Examiner for an in-office, Monday–Friday role from 8:00am to 5:00pm in Englewood, CO. You will thoroughly examine title chains, determine requirements for commitments, and ensure accuracy while adhering to underwriting guidelines.

Responsibilities include prioritizing workloads, resolving issues, delivering commitments, and supporting multiple teams. Strong communication, confidentiality, and detail orientation are essential, with a high school diploma

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of title examination experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Office 365 or Google Workspace and title software.
• Knowledge of legal and real estate terminology and title insurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize workload daily by due dates and customer requests.
• Examine chain of title to determine requirements for title commitments.
• Identify problems and develop corrective action requirements.
• Proof completed commitment/policy for content and accuracy.
• Deliver commitments/policies to parties in a timely manner.
• Approve surveys and maps to determine insurability.
• Request overlimit approvals per guidelines.
• Request indemnity letters from previous insurers when needed.
• Support other positions and teams as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned by Team Leader.
• Maintain relationships with coworkers and customers.
