Qualifications

• Detail-oriented title analyst with courthouse research experience.
• Proficient in reviewing deeds, leases, easements and related instruments.
• Experience coordinating with landmen, attorneys, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct title research using courthouses, databases, GIS, and land software.
• Examine deeds, leases, mortgages, liens, assignments, and other instruments affecting title.
• Establish complete chains of title for surface and mineral interests.
• Prepare title abstracts, ownership reports, and title run sheets for projects.
• Identify title defects and curative issues impacting leasing or development.
• Calculate net mineral acres and ownership interests.
• Coordinate with landmen, attorneys, and project managers to resolve issues.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure compliance with standards.
• Travel to county courthouses for onsite research and verification.
• Utilize GIS platforms and title management software for reporting.
