The ideal candidate holds an Ohio teaching license, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and demonstrates strong communication skills, data-informed planning, and collaboration with families and colleagues to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience in urban education settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Capacity to work in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn in.
• Incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice to support learning.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Communicate and meet with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
