Ignite Education Solutions, part of The Learning Lamp, is seeking a Title I Teacher for a non-public school district in Pennsylvania. You will provide Title I services in pull-out settings, collaborate with classroom teachers, and support students to reach their learning goals.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in early childhood or elementary education and certification. The role offers part-time hours, PTO, retirement savings options, tuition discounts, and other benefits, with

• Willingness to go through (and pass!) the required clearances and training to ensure the safety and security of our children, including: four clearances, mandated reporter training, a physical, and TB test.
• Capacity for sitting, standing, walking, bending and stopping for long periods of time, as these happen throughout the eight-hour day.

What are the duties and responsibilities?

Classroom Management

• Regular contact with the students’ classroom teacher(s) and uses teacher input to assist in choosing appropriate activities
• Maintain an open line of communication with students’ homeroom teachers, parents and Ignite Education Solutions
• Provide Title I services that are pull out only
• Provide services to students who have submitted a signed permission slip only

Lesson Preparation and Delivery

• Access and refer to the academic standards for the subject level specific to assigned students
• Use supplemental materials that are most appropriate for each child’s ability
• Access students’ IEPs (or non-public equivalent) if needed and if desired by cooperating school district
• Create a schedule that includes up to 15 minutes of prep time for every full hour of instructional time with students. (Apart from the allotted prep, your schedule may not include time that is not direct, pull out instructions with students. Any non-instruction time is not billable above/beyond the 15 minutes of prep/hour. Issues with scheduling should be directed to your supervisor at Ignite.)
• Provide services via Zoom if needed

What are the required qualifications?

• A Bachelor's degree in early childhood/elementary education from an accredited college or university and certification in Elementary Education or Special Education.
• Willingness to go through (and pass!) the required clearances and training to ensure the safety and security of our children, including: four clearances, mandated reporter training, a physical, and TB test. This can typically be accomplished within a week to get you started.
• Capacity for sitting, standing, walking, bending and stopping for long periods of time, as these happen throughout the eight-hour day.
