Job summary

Alleima Special Metals in Kennewick is hiring a Manufacturing Operator to set up and operate machinery and material handling equipment in a union environment. No prior experience is required but is preferred, with training provided.

You will follow safety procedures, perform production operations including assembly and packaging, conduct quality checks, and use tools such as calipers and grinders. You must maintain a clean, safe workspace and be flexible to Day/Swing/Night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support a strong safety culture in all activities and interactions.
• Perform manufacturing and production operations, including machine operation, processing, assembly, and packaging per procedures and safety standards.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Use measuring instruments, hand tools, and production equipment, including calipers and grinders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
