Job summary

MTF Biologics seeks a Tissue Recovery Coordinator to promote and perform aseptic tissue recovery under regulatory standards. You will evaluate donors, obtain authorization, coordinate packaging and shipment, and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations to maximize donation impact.

The role is Per-Diem based in Syracuse, NY with pay details and travel requirements. You will participate in education and training, supporting operational excellence and compliance across tissue

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1–3 years.
• Other: Health or Surgical background.
• Specialized knowledge: Gross anatomy and PC literacy.
• Preferred: Associate degree; 1–5 years experience; Licenses such as LPN, RN, Surgical Tech, MD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, perform and monitor tissue recovery per policy.
• Collaborate with donor coordination and hospitals during referral and authorization.
• Interact with recovery teams, EMS, Medical Examiners and others throughout recovery.
• Document donor records and maintain chart accuracy until release.
• Attend meetings and provide on-call coverage 14–21 days per month.
