Job summary

Axogen in Vandalia, OH is seeking a Processing Technician to perform debridement, processing, packaging and labeling of human tissue products for surgical transplantation, while ensuring compliance with federal, state and AATB regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma and sterile technique; you'll work with a team to maintain inventory, complete documentation, and follow SOPs, with shift-based opportunities and a bonus program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Universal precautions and sterile technique preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs processing, debridement, packaging, labeling and shipment of finished product.
• Participates in receiving and inspection of incoming tissue.
• Uses equipment to clean and size tissue to specifications and protocols.
• Maintains inventory levels on core and dock for supplies.
• Performs lab cleaning per policies, SOPs and quality standards.
• Works with Quality and Regulatory staff to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Completes production records as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
