Job summary

Axogen is seeking a Processing Technician in Vandalia, OH to perform debridement and processing, packaging, and labeling of human tissue products for surgical transplantation. The role ensures adherence to federal, state, and AATB regulations while maintaining strict quality standards.

Responsibilities include processing, inspection of tissue, inventory support, and accurate documentation. High school diploma or equivalent required; sterile technique and universal precautions preferred.

Qualifications

• Universal precautions and sterile technique preferred.
• Experience with surgical technician, medical assistant, or lab technician roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Performs processing, debridement, packaging, labeling and shipment of finished product.
• Participates in receiving and inspection of incoming tissue.
• Uses specialized equipment to clean and size tissue to specifications and protocols.
• Maintains inventory levels on the core and dock for supplies.
• Completes documentation per SOPs and quality standards.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and AATB regulations.
