Job summary

Tireco, Inc. is seeking a Driver in Houston to deliver tires and wheels with a focus on safety and customer service. This role involves loading/unloading, collecting payments, and maintaining the assigned vehicle, with occasional warehouse support and forklift operation.

The position requires a valid driver's license (No CDL needed), willingness to cross state lines, and adherence to DOT requirements. Benefits include medical options, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license; some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required.
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical; be at least 21 years old; willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift.
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 - 80 lbs daily; 80lbs+ requires a team lift.
• Preferred: 2+ years experience operating a box truck.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels using a company vehicle; provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Load and unload products; manage returns and payments.
• Assist in warehouse orders and loading/unloading trucks; operate equipment such as forklift as needed.
