Job summary

East Bay Tire in Hilo, HI is seeking a Warehouse Technician to receive, store and organize tires and materials. You may operate forklifts and reach trucks to fill orders and assist with inventory counts. A strong focus on safety, teamwork and timely delivery is essential in this role.

The position requires 2+ years in a warehouse setting, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and good communication skills. Experience with Excel/Outlook is beneficial, and bilingual abilities are a plus but not

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years' experience in a warehouse as a warehouse technician or forklift operator.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Experience performing inventory counts.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork, communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and pull/distribute tires and items to fill orders.
• Operate forklift on a daily basis for warehousing needs.
• Sort tires and items on racks by size, type and style.
• Load tires for delivery and assist with inventory counts.
• Participate in safety program and team meetings.
