Job summary

Dobbs Tire and Auto Centers is seeking a Tire Technician to mount, balance, rotate tires, and perform minor vehicle maintenance. You will help with inventory, inspect tires, and keep the shop organized, ensuring high-quality service.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-centric, and a team player with a strong work ethic to support department goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Mount & dismount tires; inspect tires to determine repair feasibility.
• Perform tire repairs, balancing, and rotation on various vehicles.
• Conduct minor automotive maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, and accessory replacement.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Drive customer vehicles into and out of the service bay and provide shuttle service when needed.
• Receive, inventory, and properly store tires based on size and type; organize storage areas.
• Inspect tire casings and categorize them as reusable or scrap.
• Deliver tires to other service locations as needed and complete additional tasks as directed.
