Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is hiring a Tire Technician 1 in Fairbanks, AK to perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

You will assist with inventory, participate in training, maintain a clean work area, and follow service manager directions. A High school diploma and the ability to lift up to 250 pounds are required, along with passing a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Previous experience with automotive tires is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move tires weighing up to 250 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks and demanding work conditions.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair as directed by the Service Manager.
• Assist with inventory management by loading, unloading, and organizing stock.
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry best practices and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
