Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Tire Technician to perform tire sales, mounting and replacement for customers and commercial vehicles in our busy shop and roadside service settings.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment, handling equipment maintenance and store upkeep. No experience? No problem — we will train you to provide safe, helpful service to drivers nationwide.

Qualifications

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and installation for shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facilities and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Move and lift heavy tires (75+ pounds) and work in varied temperatures.
• Adhere to safety policies to ensure customer and team safety.
• Work rotating day/night shifts as required.
• Possess or obtain DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).
