Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Louisiana is seeking Tire Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, interact with customers and drivers, and take ownership of tire sale, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service. You’ll perform equipment repair and store maintenance, move and lift 75+ pounds, follow safety policies, work a rotating day/night schedule, and have the chance to obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love’s).

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Physical ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
