Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to service tires for commercial vehicles in both shop and roadside settings. You will interact with customers and drivers, with opportunities to grow within a fast-paced team environment. No experience? No problem! We will teach you and help you advance.

Expect a physical role that involves lifting 75+ pounds, rotating day/night shifts, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Love's provides benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)

Responsibilities

• Tire installation and removal for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Move and lift heavy loads; work in variable temperatures.
• Uphold safety policies and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Rotate shifts between day and night as required.
• Possess a DOT medical card (Love’s covers the cost).
