Job summary

American Tire Depot in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a Tire Technician to mount, balance, rotate tires and perform automotive service with speed and accuracy. You will inspect vehicles, handle TPMS, oil changes, test batteries, and help keep the shop safe and organized.

Weekend availability is required, and career growth into mechanic, advisor, or management roles is possible. We offer competitive hourly pay with overtime, benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k), plus employee

Qualifications

• Tire/lube or automotive service experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude.
• Detail-oriented, safety-minded, and eager to grow.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift 70 lbs and work on your feet.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires
• Repair flats and inflate to spec
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors
• Oil changes and replace filters
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues
• Test and install batteries
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service
• Progress into light mechanical services (brakes, suspension, alignments) as skills and experience allow
