Job summary

Belle Tire in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a Tire Technician to provide expert tire services including installation, maintenance, repairs, and rotations. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop focused on safety and quality.

You’ll explain options to customers, keep a clean and safe workspace, and help with other duties as assigned. Minimum 18 years old with a valid driver's license; preferred high school diploma and prior tire service experience.

Qualifications

• 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Previous experience in tire services or automotive repair (preferred).
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on customer vehicles.
• Ensure all work meets Belle Tire's high-quality and safety standards, including cleaning hubs and wheels for corrosion.
• Explain tire options, maintenance needs, and repairs to customers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.
