Job summary

American Tire Depot in Santa Monica is seeking a Tire Technician to join a fast-paced, customer-focused team. You will mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires, perform oil changes, test TPMS, and help keep the shop safe and organized. You’ll document issues and work with the team to deliver elite service.

Qualifications

• Experience in tire/lube or automotive service preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Test and install batteries.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Work with the team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service.
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services as skills grow.
