Stevens Transport's Paragon Leasing is seeking a Tire Technician to perform tire services and maintenance in a fast-paced environment at our Texas facility. This entry-level role offers growth into multiple technician paths within the transportation maintenance industry.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, the ability to read/write/speak English, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with maintenance-tracking software. Physical labor and safety compliance are essential requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Time management skills are required.
• High school diploma is required.
• Ability to clearly read, write and speak English.
• Ability to operate a computer-based maintenance tracking system and diagnostic system.
• Basic math calculations.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to perform in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform services on tires, including rotations, balancing, repairs and replacement.
• Mount and dismount tires and wheels.
• Inspect tire casings for defects and patch or replace as needed.
• Close out and complete repair orders.
• Identify and properly tag all turned-in pieces of equipment.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop/storage area.
