Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Sales & Service associate in Avon (NY) for tire installation, maintenance, and service. You will provide excellent customer service, promote store sales, and follow company policies and best value promises.

The role covers tire/wheel installation and maintenance, TPMS calibration, and assisting in a fast-paced store environment; on-the-job training is provided. Higher wage applies in some locations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels.
• Repair, rotate and inflate tires.
• Attach and rebalance wheels.
• Install/rebuild/calibrate TPMS.
• Wash tires and wheels.
• Test and install batteries.
• Use and maintain shop equipment.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.

Job Description: Sales & Service (Tire Installation, Maintenance & Service)

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service and maintenance of tires and wheels, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels
• repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• attaching and rebalancing wheels
• installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS
• washing tires and wheels
• testing and installing batteries
• using and maintenance of equipment
• assisting other employees
• test driving vehicles
• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services

Provides excellent customer service, promotes store sales; uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.

Experience:
