Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Ashland, Oregon, is hiring for a Sales & Service role focused on tire installation, maintenance, and sales. You will provide excellent customer service and complete work according to company policies and the Code of Conduct.

The position involves hands-on tire and wheel work, TPMS calibration, batteries, and on-site/offsite service. A valid driver's license and the ability to handle physical tasks are required; on-the-job training is available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels.
• Repair, rotate and inflate tires.
• Attach and rebalance wheels.
• Install/relearn/calibrate TPMS.
• Wash tires and wheels.
• Test and install batteries.
• Use and maintain equipment.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.

Sales & Service (Tire Installation, Maintenance & Sales)

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service and maintenance of tires and wheels, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels;
• repairing, rotating, and inflating tires;
• attaching and rebalancing wheels;
• installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS;
• washing tires and wheels;
• testing and installing batteries;
• using and maintenance of equipment;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.

Provides excellent customer service, promotes store sales; uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.

Experience
