Job summary

Bridgestone is seeking a Tire Technician in Anchorage, Alaska, to perform tire service and repair on customer vehicles, including mining equipment. You will complete inspections, assist fleet programs, and help maintain shop efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes safety and quality service, with a pay range of $20.80–$41.60 per hour. Bridgestone values teamwork, ongoing training, and a commitment to safe mobility for customers and equipment.

Responsibilities

• TIRE SERVICE: Rack and hoist vehicles for inspection. Complete written vehicle inspection with regard to tire service. Fleet inspections. Scrap tire analysis. Instruct other Tire Technicians in performing tire repair and general service. Dispatch (where applicable). Any other duties as assigned.
• VEHICLE MAINTENANCE: Ensure that service truck, all tools and equipment are in good operating condition. Perform pre trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of each work day and report problems to the Service Manager.
• Check all fluid levels and maintain vehicle cleanliness (inside & out).
• MISCELLANEOUS: Use proper and safe procedures at all times. Maintain standards of cleanliness. Notify manager of defects. Maintain tire stock and repair materials.

Position Summary

To perform tire service and repair work as well as basic general service functions on customer vehicles (all sizes), fleet inspections, scrap tire analysis and other duties as required on Large and Giant mining tires and equipment. Pay Range: $20.80 - $41.60

Commission Eligible

Commission Eligible. Bridgestone reserves the right to modify, change or eliminate the entire program or any part of it at any time.

Responsibilities

Instruct other Tire Technicians in performing tire repair and general service. Dispatch (where applicable). Any other duties as assigned. VEHICLE MAINTENANCE Insure that service truck, all tools and equipment are in good operating condition. Perform pre trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of each work day and immediately report operating problems or mechanical defects to the Service Manager. Check all fluid levels in truck and air compressor during pre trip inspection. Maintain vehicle cleanliness (inside & out). MISCELLANEOUS Perform jobs using proper and safe procedures at all times. Use personal protective equipment according to regulations and policies. Maintain standards of cleanliness. Maintain supply stock of tread rubber and repair materials and advise manager when replenishment is necessary. Maintain equipment in good working order. Notify manager immediately of defects. Be able to perform all duties/tasks of Tire Tech 1 and 2 Other duties as assigned.
