Job summary

American Tire Depot in Torrance is seeking a Tire Technician to join our shop. You will mount, dismount, balance and rotate tires, perform oil changes, inspect systems, and help maintain safety and cleanliness.

The team emphasizes speed, accuracy, and exceptional customer service. Weekend availability is a plus, with opportunities to grow into additional mechanical tasks as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in tire service or automotive maintenance is preferred.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and reliability.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate service.
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services as skills grow.

Tire Technicians:

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires
• Repair flats and inflate to spec
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors
• Perform oil changes and replace filtersl

• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services (brakes, suspension, alignments) as skills and experience allow

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Tire/lube or automotive service experience preferred

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Physically able to lift 70 lbs and work on your feet
