Job summary

American Tire Depot is hiring a Tire Technician in Rancho Palos Verdes to mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires, and to service TPMS sensors. You will also perform oil changes, replace filters, inspect for issues, and assist with battery tests and installations.

We emphasize safety, accuracy, and teamwork, offering a competitive hourly rate with overtime opportunities and room for career growth into mechanics or management roles.

Qualifications

• Tire/lube or automotive service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to specification.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Test and install batteries.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service.
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services as skills grow.

Tire Technicians:
