Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores in Plantersville, AL is hiring Tire Technicians to join a fast-paced, customer-facing team. You’ll assist with tire sales, removal and replacement for service in-store and roadside, and you’ll help keep equipment and the store clean.

No experience? No problem — we’ll train you. You’ll move up to 75+ pounds, rotate day/night shifts, and you can obtain a medical card through DOT (paid by Love’s). Benefits start after 30 days.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal, and replacement for vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facilities and perform general housekeeping.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to protect customers and team members.
• Adhere to DOT medical card requirements (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions :

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
