Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians in Texas. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, service tires for commercial vehicles, and interact with customers and drivers from across the country. No experience is required—we’ll train you to become proficient.

Role involves lifting 75+ pounds, maintaining a clean shop, and a rotating day/night schedule. A DOT medical card is required (Love’s will cover the cost).

Qualifications

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule day and night.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility including general housekeeping duties and equipment repair.
• Ensure safety and satisfaction of customers per company policies.
• Interact with customers and drivers to assist with tire needs and service requests.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
