Job summary

Dobbs Tire and Auto Centers in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking a Tire Technician to join our fast-paced shop. You will handle mounting, balancing, rotating tires, and perform light vehicle maintenance while delivering great guest service.

This role requires attention to safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. We offer a full-time schedule and competitive hourly pay in the $14–$20 range, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide auto care family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong focus on accuracy, safety, and quality work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive shop.

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount tires, inspect for damage, and determine repair feasibility.
• Perform tire repairs, balancing, and rotation on a variety of vehicles.
• Conduct basic vehicle maintenance such as oil changes and lubrication.
• Keep work areas and tools clean and organized using approved methods.
• Move customer vehicles into/out of the service bay and assist with shuttle duties.
• Receive and store tires by size and type; organize storage areas.
• Inspect tire casings and classify them as reusable or scrap.
• Assist with tire deliveries and other tasks as assigned.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mount and dismount tires; inspect damaged, defective, or flat tires todeterminerepair feasibility.
• Perform tire repairs, balancing, and rotation on a variety of vehicles.
• Conduct minor automotive maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, and accessory replacement.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment using approved methods and solvents.
• Drive customer vehicles into and out of the service bay and provide shuttle service when needed.
• Receive, inventory, andproperly storetires based on size and type; stack and organize storage areas accordingly.
• Inspect tire casings and accurately categorize them as reusable or scrap.
• Deliver tires to other service locations as needed and completeadditionaltasks or assignments as directed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
