Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Michigan is seeking Tire Technicians to maintain tires for local and commercial vehicles in a fast-paced shop and roadside setting. You will interact with customers and drivers from across the region, helping to keep journeys safe and on schedule.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift and move tires and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Perform equipment maintenance and store facility housekeeping.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Possess a valid medical card via DOT (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
