Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians in Midway, GA. You will work in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of tire sales, removal and replacement for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service. You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and day better.

Qualifications

• Experience in tire services or hands-on maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and follow safety policies.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in roadside and shop settings.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and replacement for tires on commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.
• Work in varying temperatures and rotating day/night shifts.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction, complying with safety policies.

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love's)
