Job summary

DOBBS TIRE & AUTO CENTERS is seeking a Tire Technician to mount, balance, rotate tires, and perform minor vehicle maintenance. You will help with tire inspections, inventories, and shop cleanliness in a fast-paced automotive service environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Mount/dismount tires and inspect for repair feasibility.
• Perform tire repairs, balancing, and rotation on various vehicles.
• Conduct minor automotive maintenance including oil changes and lubrication.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with shuttle driving of customer vehicles as needed.
• Receive, inventory, and store tires by size/type and organize storage areas.
• Inspect tire casings and classify as reusable or scrap.
• Deliver tires to other service locations and complete additional tasks as directed.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mount and dismount tires; inspect damaged, defective, or flat tires todeterminerepair feasibility.
• Perform tire repairs, balancing, and rotation on a variety of vehicles.
• Conduct minor automotive maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, and accessory replacement.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment using approved methods and solvents.
• Drive customer vehicles into and out of the service bay and provide shuttle service when needed.
• Receive, inventory, andproperly storetires based on size and type; stack and organize storage areas accordingly.
• Inspect tire casings and accurately categorize them as reusable or scrap.
• Deliver tires to other service locations as needed and completeadditionaltasks or assignments as directed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Fast-paced automotive service environment.

• Extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting tires or equipment.
