Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Livonia, Michigan is seeking a Tire Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for tire sales, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles, both in-shop and roadside.

The ideal candidate should be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in various temperatures, and ensure customer safety and satisfaction. Love's offers training for those without experience and emphasizes career growth within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sales, removal, and replacement in shop and roadside service.
• Ensure equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility along with general housekeeping.
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction, following company safety policies.

Skills

Availability for rotating day/night shifts

Willingness to obtain a DOT medical card

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift 75+ pounds.
• Availability for rotating day/night shifts.
• Willingness to obtain a DOT medical card.
