Job summary

American Tire Depot in California is seeking a Part-Time Tire Technician to join our fast-paced automotive team. You’ll mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires, perform oil changes, replace filters, test batteries, and assist with TPMS sensor service.

The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within a supportive team. We emphasize hands-on training, safety, and customer service excellence, with potential career paths into mechanic, service advisor, and management roles.

Qualifications

• Automotive, tire, or lube experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stay active throughout the shift.
• Weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Test and replace batteries.
• Inspect vehicles and document findings.
• Assist with TPMS sensor service.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support teammates in delivering fast, accurate customer service.
• Learn additional mechanical skills like brakes, alignments, and suspension work over time.
