Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, performing tire sale, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles both in shop and roadside service.

No prior experience is required — we will teach you! You will interact with customers and drivers, ensuring safety and efficient service. The role includes lifting heavy tires, operating in diverse temperatures, and a rotating day/night schedule with DOT medical card support provided by Love’s.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Move and lift 75+ lbs; work in varying temperatures and tight spaces.
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction per company policies.
• Operate on a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
