Job Description
Service Tire TechnicianThis role provides hands-on service for fleets and commercial accounts in a busy warehouse and service environment. The position offers challenging, physical work with clear opportunities to increase pay as you demonstrate the ability to handle more complex tire applications and grow into a long-term career.
This opportunity offers a clear path for growth in a specialized trade, with pay increases tied directly to your ability to handle a wider range of tire applications and responsibilities. You join a close-knit service team where hard work, reliability, and mechanical aptitude are recognized and rewarded. The environment encourages independence, hands-on learning, and long-term career development for those who are willing to take on challenging work and expand their skills.
The role is based in a basic warehouse facility divided into shipping/receiving, service, and retread areas. The environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, and the work is physically demanding, often leaving you sore after a full day. The standard shift runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break and occasional shorter breaks. Once hired on permanently, you must be open to the full-time schedule and may be asked to work some Saturdays or support overnight service calls, though overnight work is not guaranteed. You will work alongside a small team of service technicians in an active, production-oriented setting, using hand tools, power tools, and air tools to complete service tasks. The dress code requires work shoes, jeans, and eye protection; ear plugs are available if desired. Uniforms are ordered after permanent hire, with employees contributing to part of the uniform cost.
