Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Ohio is seeking a Tire Technician to join our fast-paced store team. You will engage with customers and drivers, perform tire sales, removal, and replacement for shop and roadside service, and help maintain a clean, safe work area.

No experience? No problem—we train you. You’ll lift up to 75 pounds, work rotating day/night shifts, and have access to benefits including tuition assistance after probation, paid time off, and a 401(k) match.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal, and replacement for shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and work in various temperatures.
• Always prioritize customer safety and satisfaction following company policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule with day and night shifts as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Earn $14.50 - $20.00 p/hr
• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
