Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to service and replace tires for commercial and other vehicles. You’ll interact with drivers, learn hands-on tire work, and grow with a fast-paced team. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

You may obtain a Department of Transportation medical card, with costs covered by Love’s, and enjoy opportunities for growth. Work involves lifting, varying temperatures, and a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.
• Willingness to work a rotating day/night schedule.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal, and replacement for trucks and vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility and perform general housekeeping.
• Move and work in varying temperatures; handle equipment safely.
• Adhere to Love’s safety policies and procedures.
• Rotating day and night shifts as needed.
• DOT medical card may be required; program paid by Love’s.

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
