Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Tire Technician for a Decatur, AL based role. You will inspect, repair, install, and maintain tires while providing exceptional service and ensuring vehicle safety for customers.

Workweek is Monday–Friday 7:00 am–5:00 pm and Saturday 7:00 am–12:00 pm, with some overtime potential and benefits. Temp to hire with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tire installation, balancing, and repair procedures.
• Ability to safely operate automotive service equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
• Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires, wheels, and related components for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
• Install, remove, mount, and balance tires on passenger vehicles, light trucks, and commercial vehicles.
• Perform tire rotations, alignments, and other preventative maintenance services.
• Operate tire-changing machines, wheel balancers, lifts, and other shop equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Tire Technician

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Tire Technician for a company based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspect, repair, install and maintain tires while providing exceptional service and ensuring vehicle safety for customers.

Pay Rate

$16.00 per hour or more based on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 5 00 pm and Saturday 7 00 am to 12 00 pm, off one day during the week.
