Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, servicing tires for customers and drivers. No experience is required as Love’s will teach you, with opportunities to grow and develop skills on the job.

You’ll interact with customers and drivers, maintain shop and roadside service operations, and learn safety policies. A rotating day/night schedule and Love’s DOT medical card support are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sales, removal and replacement for shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility and perform general housekeeping.
• Lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Work in various temperatures.
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction per safety policies.
• Rotate between day and night shifts as needed.
• Possess DOT medical card (Love's pays for it).

Job Functions :

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
