Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Tire Technician to join a fast-paced, customer‑facing team. You will help drivers and travelers by performing tire sales, removal, and replacement while maintaining a clean store and safe work environment.

You must be able to lift 75+ pounds, work in varying temperatures, and participate in rotating day/night shifts; DOT medical card can be arranged through Love’s. Training provided on start date.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to sell, remove, and replace tires for customers and drivers.
• Commitment to safety and following company policies.
• Willingness to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.

Responsibilities

• Sell, remove, and replace tires for customers and drivers.
• Maintain and repair or service store equipment and perform housekeeping tasks.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds in close quarters; work in varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Rotate between day and night shifts as schedules require.

Job Functions

• Earn $18.50 - $23.00 per hour
• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
