Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to perform tire sales, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles in a fast-paced shop and roadside setting. You will interact with customers and drivers, ensuring their travels are safer and smoother. No experience?

We will teach you, and there is room to grow with the team. Expect a physical role with lift requirements, a rotating day/night schedule, and benefits after completing 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Interacting with customers and drivers to make their travel day better.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Emphasis on safety and satisfaction of customers.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal and replacement for trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Maintain store facility and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction per company policies.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Possess a DOT medical card (Love’s pays for it).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
