Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment, serving customers and drivers. No experience is required—we will teach you! You’ll handle tire sales, removal, and replacement for various vehicles, while keeping the shop clean and safe.

You'll move and lift heavy tires in different temperatures and may work day or night shifts. A medical card may be obtained through DOT training, paid by Love’s. Join a team with room to grow and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• No experience? We will teach you!
• Physical stamina to handle lifting up to 75+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility with general housekeeping duties and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Move and lift heavy objects (75+ pounds) and work in varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and provide customer satisfaction.
• Work a rotating schedule with day and night shifts as needed.
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions:

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
