Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Sales & Service technician in Helena, MT to perform tire installation, maintenance and related service tasks with a strong focus on customer care. The role involves tire and wheel work, TPMS calibration, battery testing and safe operation of service equipment.

Typical duties require lifting heavy loads, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced environment while delivering the company’s Best Tire Value Promise to customers.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license is required.
Excellent customer service and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Frequent lifting of 35–75 pounds and frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels.
Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires.
Attaching and rebalancing wheels.
Installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS.
Washing tires and wheels.
Testing and installing batteries.
Using and maintenance of equipment.
Assisting other employees.
Test driving vehicles.
Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
