Pomp's Tire Service is seeking a Tire Sales and Service Representative to blend commercial tire sales with hands-on service. Build lasting customer relationships while delivering quality workmanship for commercial fleets.

Role involves selling tires, performing mounting, balancing, and related services, and providing solutions that reduce fleet costs. On-site duties and strong customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial tire service and sales is preferred.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with commercial customers.
• Must be able to safely perform tire service and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with commercial customers and provide tire products and service solutions.
• Generate new business while growing existing accounts.
• Sell commercial tires, retread products, maintenance programs and related services.
• Perform commercial tire service including mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotating and replacing tires.
• Complete on-site service calls safely and professionally.
• Inspect tires and recommend products to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate service records and customer information.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Pomp's in a professional manner.
• Assist with store operations as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers by providing tire products and service solutions that meet their business needs


• Generate new business while growing existing customer accounts


• Sell commercial tires, retread products, preventive maintenance programs, and related services


• Personally perform commercial tire service, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotating, repairing, and replacing tires on customer vehicles and equipment


• Perform on-site service calls and respond to customer needs in a safe, professional, and timely manner


• Inspect tires, identify maintenance concerns, and recommend products and services that improve tire performance and reduce operating costs


• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and customer information


• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Pomp's in a professional manner


• Assist with store operations and other duties as assigned

What You Need:

• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment driver's file


• High school diploma or equivalent required


• Previous experience in commercial tire service required; commercial tire sales experience preferred


• Ability to safely service commercial tires using industry-standard tools and equipment


• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times


• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision


• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally
