Job summary

Pomp’s, a leading tire service provider, is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician to join our team and help keep commercial fleets rolling safely. You will mount, dismount, and replace tires, assess customer needs, and diagnose tire issues with a focus on quality and safety.

This role emphasizes independent work, clear customer communication, and proper tool handling. You’ll perform rotations, balancing, and minor repairs, maintain a clean workspace, and assist with additional tasks as directed

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to read and verify work order information.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and replace tires on commercial vehicles efficiently and safely
• Assess and troubleshoot customer tire needs to provide effective solutions
• Inspect tires and vehicles for any additional issues or maintenance needs
• Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs as required
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure proper care of tools and equipment
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager to support team operations
