Job summary

JOHNSON SERVICE GROUP is looking for a Tire Modeling Engineer to join its product development team in Suwanee, GA. This full-time position offers a hybrid work schedule with full benefits. Ideal candidates will possess a Master's degree and experience in tire modeling using FEA/CFD software.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing proprietary procedures, validating simulations, and supporting development projects globally. Strong communication skills and a passion for the tire/automotive industry are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in relevant engineering field required.
• Three years of experience in tire modeling and simulation.
• Hands-on experience with FEA and CFD software.

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Tire Modeling Engineer to join our client’s product development team in Suwanee, GA. This exciting career opportunity is for an individual who is passionate about the tire/automotive industry, possesses excellent computer skills, has solid verbal and written communications skills, and has a strong desire to excel.

This is a full-time, direct hire position with full benefits. We are currently working a hybrid schedule (working 3 days in office and 2 days at home).

Responsibilities:

• Develop in-house proprietary procedures using commercially available FEA/CFD software
• Work with local and global FEA/CFD teams to provide support, results, and analysis
• Develop and validate FEA/CFD simulations of various tire manufacturing processes
• Participate and support OE development projects on a global level
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in mechanical, civil, structural, or chemical engineering required
• Three (3) years of experience in FEA/CFD tire modeling and simulation required
• Hands‑on experience with FEA and Abaqus modeling software
