Job summary

Scott’s Auto Center in Cumming, GA is looking for an Automotive General Service Technician to perform essential maintenance such as tire mounting, oil changes, and fluid services with care and efficiency. You’ll inspect vehicles, document findings, keep shop equipment in top condition, and continually expand automotive knowledge to support long-term career growth.

Candidates should have a basic understanding of automotive systems, strong teamwork and communication, a valid US driver’s license,

Qualifications

Basic understanding of automotive systems.
Effective communication and ability to work in a team.
Valid driver’s license is strongly preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Mount, balance, and install tires with precision and care.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid flushes and replacements, belt and hose replacements, battery testing and installation, and general automotive repairs.
Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles and document any findings.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of shop equipment and service portable fluid drains.
Expand automotive knowledge and technical skills for long-term career development.
Perform additional duties to support shop operations and team success.
