Job summary

Grease Monkey Baton Rouge is seeking a Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. You will perform oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance while delivering friendly, customer-focused service.

The ideal candidate has mechanical know-how, can use hand tools and diagnostic equipment, and works safely in a fast-paced shop. Compensation starts at $15 hourly plus 10% of tickets, with weekly pay and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive service.
• Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience in oil change or tire service is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and ability to communicate with clients.
• Understanding of automotive diagnostics and maintenance practices.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and fluid checks on various vehicles.
• Conduct routine maintenance services, including tire repairs/replacements, rotations, and air filter changes.
• Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle conditions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating vehicle needs to clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist in sales of additional services or products related to vehicle maintenance.
• Stay updated on automotive service techniques and industry trends.
