Job summary

L&M Fleet Supply in Hibbing, MN, is seeking a tire and lube technician to service customer vehicles. You will perform basic preventive maintenance, oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, battery testing, and related tasks while advising customers on product choices.

The ideal candidate has automotive maintenance experience and strong customer service skills; flexible part-time hours and a supportive team environment are offered.

Our Perfect Match:

We are looking to hire a highly-skilled tire & lube technician to maintain and service customers' vehicles. You will also work directly with customers to understand their needs, identify the right products/services, and install them on their vehicle. Previous experience and/or knowledge in automotive maintenance & customer service is preferred.

Job Type: Part-Time Hours

Schedule: Flexible Work Schedule, Varied Shift Times

Targeted Pay Range: $14-17 per hour.

(Starting rate of pay varies based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.)

What you'll do in this role:

Our Tire and Lube Technicians work as a team to perform basic preventive maintenance on vehicles. Ideal candidates have previous knowledge and/or experience working on vehicles and are able to perform all duties related to basic vehicle maintenance and repair. You will work directly with customers to understand their needs, identify applicable products, and install them to customer vehicles. Primary duties include oil changes and vehicle lubrication, mounting, balancing, and repairing tires, battery installation and testing, and other related maintenance as needed.
