Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a dependable delivery driver to operate company vehicles and complete daily routes. You will load/unload tires and parts up to 100 lbs, deliver to customer locations, verify contents, and obtain signatures.

Maintain logs as required by DOT while assisting with inventory and supporting service technicians. Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, adhering to safety guidelines, and working flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL not required for most roles, but may be preferred for larger vehicles.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 100 lbs., with or without assistance.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Previous delivery or route driving experience preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to perform daily pickup and delivery routes.
• Load and unload tires, wheels, and parts up to 100 lbs., using proper safety techniques.
• Deliver products to customer locations in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Verify delivery contents and obtain proper signatures and documentation.
• Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and daily driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Assist with inventory organization, stocking, and cycle counts as needed.
• Support service technicians by transporting tires to/from service calls or jobsites.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and DOT regulations.
