Job summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., seeks a delivery driver to operate a box truck and complete 10–20 daily deliveries with a focus on safety and accurate logging. The role runs Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays and possible overtime.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, lift up to 80 lbs, use forklifts as needed, and handle customer payments at delivery while maintaining effective communication with customers and management.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• At least 1 year of professional driving experience in a cube van, box truck, or semi-truck.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record in compliance with company driver policy.
• Completion of a company road test by a qualified assessor.
• Ability to be trained to safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high‑reach lifts as required.
• Strength to lift 50lbs consistently and up to 80lbs occasionally; pushing up to 40lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test (no THC/marijuana testing).
• Valid DOT medical card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck under 26,001lbs (or equivalent vehicle) and complete 10–20 deliveries per day.
• Maintain accurate driver, fuel purchase, and other required logs in compliance with company policy and law.
• Ensure on‑time, safe deliveries in all weather conditions.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Lift 50lbs regularly and up to 80lbs occasionally; lift commercial tires using team lifts or mechanical equipment.
• Handle barrels or industrial/agricultural tires, exerting a pushing force of up to 40lbs.
• Assist with truck loading/unloading and operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers when needed.
• Operate a handheld device to confirm delivery fulfillment.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Collect payments from customers upon delivery.
• Perform additional job‑related tasks as directed by a supervisor, with reasonable accommodations as required.
